About Dr. Ling
Dr. Ling is devoted to providing friendly, comprehensive, family-centered care. She seeks to understand the full range of physical, mental, social, and spiritual factors that affect her patients' health, and tailors the latest medical guidelines for each individual person, with particular emphasis on preventive medicine and women’s health.
Dr. Ling started practice in 1992 and worked as an attending physician for six years at PUMC Hospital, the best hospital in China. In the U.S., she scored 99% on the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam and completed her residency at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New York. Before opening her own practice, she worked as a staff physician at Asian Health Services in Oakland, CA, helping a medically underserved population.
Rare among family doctors, Dr. Ling has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has conducted impactful research to treat diabetes, cancer, and infectious disease. Her expertise in drug mechanisms and interactions means that she can provide patients with personalized treatment plans that minimize side effects.
Outside of her clinic, Dr. Ling gives public lectures on
health and wellness in the San Francisco area. She enjoys
traveling, reading, and hiking with her friends and
family.
